Warren Buffett continued to sell Apple, reducing his holdings by about a quarter in the third quarter of 2024. Warren Buffett and Berkshire Hathaway (BRK.B) currently own $69.9 billion worth of shares in Apple, at least at the end of Q3 2024. That’s down from the $84.2 billion Berkshire Hathaway’s holdings were worth at the end of Q2 2024. Warren Buffett and Berkshire Hathaway $BRK.B currently own more than $288 billion worth of US Treasury bills. This figure compares to the US Federal Reserve’s holdings of $195 billion in Treasury bills. Add to this that Berkshire Hathaway also had $325 billion in cash at the end of the third quarter of 2024, up from $276 billion at the end of Q2.
