London’s famous Black Cabs will be listed on Uber’s app

Tjänsten kommer inte att rulla ut förrän i början av 2024, men några London-cabbies, chaufförer av Black Cabs, har redan börjat registrera sig. Uber säger att alla 15 000 av Londons taxichaufförer "nu kommer att ha möjligheten" att registrera sig för Uber-resehänvisningar.

The service will not be rolled out until early 2024, but some London cabbies, drivers of Black Cabs, have already started signing up. Uber says that all 15,000 of London’s taxi drivers “will now have the option” to sign up for Uber ride referrals.

The company recently brokered deals with taxi fleet owners in New York City, Paris, Rome and Los Angeles to list drivers on its app. The Licensed Taxi Drivers’ Association (LTDA), an industry group representing 10,000 drivers, doubted whether drivers would flock to the app.
