The Nasdaq OMX Nordic 120 fell back into its previous long-term rising trend during the recent sharp stock market fall.
The index fell down to, and slightly below, the 200-day moving average, and has then rebounded strongly.

The Nordic stock exchange index is now testing an important technical resistance level up against the upper trend line in the previous long-term rising trend, which the index has fallen back into during the latest sharp correction.

Various momentum indicators such as RSI and Stochastics indicate that the Nasdaq OMX Nordic 120 may now be facing a correction downwards in the short term.

Correction down in the short term, but an established break above the 1,680 level will trigger positive technical signals for Nasdaq OMX Nordic 120

The overall technical picture for Nasdaq OMX Nordic 120 indicates that there may be a correction downwards in the short term, and perhaps a new test of support around the 1,580 – 1,600 level and down towards the 200-day moving average.

A break downwards below the 1,580 level and below the 200-day moving average will trigger negative technical signals for this Nordic stock exchange index, which may then correct all the way down towards the lower trend line in the long term rising trend.

An established break above the 1680 level and above the 50-day moving average on Nasdaq OMX Nordic 120 will trigger positive technical signals.
