A single buyer behind 28% of all bitcoin purchases

US investment bank J P Morgan’s Global Markets Strategists survey noted in early January that 28 percent of all bitcoin purchases in 2024 were by a single player. The record-breaking capital inflow into the crypto markets last year was MicroStrategys’ purchase of the cryptocurrency Bitcoin. MicroStrategys is now included in the US benchmark index S&P500.
