What happens to the euro area economy?

Vad händer med euroområdets ekonomi? Tysklands och Frankrikes BNP sjönk med 0,2 % och 0,1 % under fjärde kvartalet 2024. Italiens BNP var oförändrad för andra kvartalet i rad.

What is happening to the euro area economy? Germany’s and France’s GDP fell by 0.2% and 0.1% in the fourth quarter of 2024. Italy’s GDP remained unchanged for the second consecutive quarter. In fact, the euro area economy did not grow in the fourth quarter of 2024. Germany has contracted for two consecutive years in 2023 and 2024.
